There are now 65 adults with learning disabilities who work at Walton Lea Walled Garden and Long Lane Garden Centre. They range in age from seventeen to sixty four! Some come just one day a week whilst others come five days a week.

If you are interested then what most people do is talk to their Social Worker. Then they come for a visit and if there are vacancies will start by coming for some taster sessions. Some people use their Direct Payments to pay for their placement and others simply fund themselves.
